IT leaders from the public and private sectors came together at the summit in Antalya, sponsored by Prolink TD SYNNEX and Palo Alto Networks.
The integrated Kamu-BİB’28 and BİMY’32 event, organized by the Turkish Informatics Association (TBD) in Antalya and bringing together leaders from both the public and private sectors, hosted prominent figures in cybersecurity and digital transformation. As Gold Sponsors, Prolink TD SYNNEX and Palo Alto Networks once again emphasized the importance of strong partnerships in the industry at this pivotal gathering where the new boundaries of IT were drawn.
This year marked the 28th edition of Kamu-BİB (Union of Public Information Center Managers) and the 32nd edition of BİMY (IT Center Managers), held between 27–30 November 2025 at the Selectum Luxury Belek Resort Hotel in Antalya.
Organized under the main theme “New Frontiers of Informatics: Standards and Sustainability,” the large-scale event brought together public and private sector IT leaders, academics, and industry stakeholders on a common platform. As one of Türkiye’s leading value-added distributors of networking and security solutions, Prolink TD SYNNEX, together with Palo Alto Networks, the global cybersecurity leader, supported the event as Gold Sponsors. Prolink TD SYNNEX, which has been the distributor of Palo Alto Networks in Türkiye for more than a decade, carried the strength of this long-standing partnership to the Antalya summit. Throughout the event, the two companies showcased the latest technologies and innovations in the cybersecurity ecosystem while highlighting their contributions to Türkiye’s digital transformation journey.
The future of digital transformation discussed in depth
During the event—where Türkiye’s technology roadmap for defining AI standards and achieving a sustainable future was outlined—key panels shed light on the future of business, with the participation of IT leaders from both public and private sectors. On the second day, the highly attended panel “Beyond Digital Transformation” featured Vedat Tüfekçi, Palo Alto Networks Türkiye CIS Regional Director, as a panelist. The session explored new frontiers of informatics within the context of Türkiye’s second century, considering cutting-edge technologies—especially artificial intelligence—as well as quantum computing, IoT, data, and cybersecurity. The topics were evaluated across the dimensions of people, processes, technology, law, and economics.
Cybersecurity Must Be Core to Türkiye's AI and Quantum Future
Palo Alto Networks Türkiye CIS Regional Director Vedat Tüfekçi said during the panel: “Cybersecurity is not just a technology issue, it is one of the most critical pillars of successful digital transformation for Türkiye's public and private sectors. As we outline the nation's technology roadmap—especially considering the new frontiers of AI, IoT, and quantum computing—our focus must be on building a resilient, sustainable, and secure digital future. Our deep, long-standing partnership with Prolink TD SYNNEX ensures we deliver the end-to-end cybersecurity ecosystem that organizations need to manage both current threats and the complex risks of tomorrow.”
“Cybersecurity is one of the most critical pillars of successful digital transformation”
Commenting on the event, Billur Kule, Sales Director of TD SYNNEX Türkiye, emphasized that one of the most important aspects of Türkiye’s digital transformation journey is not simply the adoption of technology, but ensuring this transformation is secure, sustainable, and aligned with standards. She stated: “Platforms like Kamu-BİB and BİMY play a crucial role in ensuring public and private sector stakeholders come together around a shared vision. One of the most critical components of successful digital transformation is undoubtedly cybersecurity. As digitalization accelerates, cyber risks grow more complex. While innovations such as AI, IoT, cloud computing, and quantum technologies create great opportunities, they also bring new threats. Institutions must be prepared not only for current threats but also future risks. At Prolink TD SYNNEX, our long-standing partnership with a global cybersecurity leader like Palo Alto Networks helps organizations build more resilient infrastructures in the face of changing threat landscapes. Since 2014, our focus in Türkiye has gone far beyond delivering products and technologies. We prioritize creating added value through an end-to-end solutions approach that includes consultancy, technical support, training, and ecosystem development. Being part of platforms such as Kamu-BİB and BİMY is far more than a sponsorship for us; it is also an extension of our responsibility to contribute to Türkiye’s digital future. In the coming period, we will continue to strengthen our collaborations and expand our contributions to support the growth of Türkiye’s cybersecurity ecosystem and the widespread adoption of a sustainable digital transformation model.”
